I am a nurse in oncology and gynecologic oncology has been 3 years. It is very common in ovarian cancer. Every case is different, but surgery may be an option, ask your doctor. Is often done after the surgery, the intestine does not matter how many operations are carried out. The trick to end the blockage of the intestine to reduce the tumor mass.
My advice is to ensure easy, that they receive good care and the trust of their doctors. I recommend that you consult a gynecologist-oncologist, not an oncologist or general surgeon, oncologist. I would also recommend that intraperitoneal chemotherapy - Google it
